Assessment Plan:

 

Students will be evaluated based on their knowledge, participation, and completion of their work in each of the Project-based inquiry phases. The following is the criteria that will be followed to assessed the students complete knowledge of the topic and answer to the question, “How does global economic affect education.” Students will be completing various activities throughout the first couple of days, and gather information to create a visual presentation and share it with their class.

 

  • First Phase: Compelling Question (Defining Global Citizenship, Jigsaw Activity, Discussion): 10%

  • Second Phase: Gathering and Analyzing Information (Discussion and Cubing Activity, Concept Map, Causes and Effect, and Think-Pair-and Share Activity): 25%

  • Third Phase: Creatively Synthesize information (Fish Bowl Discussion, KWL, Visual Representation) 25%

  • Fourth and Fifth Phase: Critically Evaluate and Revise and Share Visual Presentation: 40%

 

 

The students will meet the goals and objectives presented each day in the classroom, and shift through the phases smoothly to ensure that a wealth of knowledge is presented and given to the students.
